Ingredients
2 shots espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee
-
1 tbsp GRACE Elderberry Co. elderberry syrup
1 tbsp lavender simple syrup (recipe below, or store-bought)
1 cup milk of choice (oat milk is a popular pairing)
Optional for garnish: A pinch of dried, edible lavender buds
Directions
Hot Lavender Elderberry Latte
Combine flavors and coffee: In a mug, combine the hot espresso or strong coffee, elderberry syrup, and lavender syrup. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
Heat and froth milk: In a small saucepan, heat the milk until it is warm and starts to steam (do not boil). Use a milk frother to create a creamy foam.
Assemble the latte: Pour the frothed milk into the mug with the lavender elderberry coffee mixture. Stir gently to combine.
Garnish and serve: Top with a pinch of dried lavender buds for garnish, if desired, and enjoy immediately.
Iced Lavender Elderberry Latte
Combine flavors and coffee: In a glass, combine the cooled espresso or strong coffee, elderberry syrup, and lavender syrup. Stir well.
Add ice: Fill the glass with ice cubes.
Add milk: Pour your milk of choice over the ice and the coffee mixture.
Garnish and serve: Stir once more to ensure everything is combined. Garnish with a few dried lavender buds if you like and serve cold.
